What Is the MM2 Value Calculator?
The MM2 value calculator is a free tool for checking Murder Mystery 2 trades before you accept them. Every item in the calculator uses the same values as our main MM2 values list, which is updated daily from live trading data — so the verdict you see reflects what items are actually worth right now, not last month's prices.
How Win, Fair and Loss Are Decided
The calculator adds up the value of every item on each side of the trade and compares the totals. If both sides are within roughly 5% of each other, the trade is rated Fair. If you are receiving more value than you give, it's a Win (W); if you are giving away more, it's a Loss (L). The percentage difference is shown so you can judge borderline trades yourself — a 2% "loss" on a high-demand item you actually want can still be a good trade.
Why Demand Matters as Much as Value
Two items with the same listed value are not always equally good to hold. Demand (rated 1–10 on our item pages) tells you how actively other traders are looking for an item. High-demand items like popular godlies and chromas trade quickly at full value, while low-demand items often need overpay to move. When a trade is close to Fair, take the side with better demand.
Tips for Safe MM2 Trading
Always check current values right before trading — prices move after every update and event. Never trade outside the game's own trade window, and be wary of "trust trades" or anyone offering to go first: they are the most common MM2 trading scams. If a deal looks too good to be true on the calculator, it usually is.
